Start Up, Stay Up was a conference where students came together to work day and night for three days to create, design, and pitch a social entrepreneurship project to a panel of experts. Students worked either individually, or in small groups, with an idea or framework for a social start up that meets a need in their community. Student groups worked with mentors and consultants to develop their start ups. Some of the top project ideas have been put into motion following the conference - some groups have met with accelerator companies to develop their ideas further.
We plan to make this an annual event at Graded, inviting students from around Brazil (and hopefully beyond), to pitch social entrepreneurial start up ideas.
