Lower School News
WHERE ARE WE?
To date, we have raised 60% of our R$1,200,000 Graded Annual Fund monetary goal. Two hundred and two donors – parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty/staff – have shown their support, representing a 49% increase in household giving.
WHAT'S THE GOAL?
We are aiming for 100% parent participation. Strong community engagement is instrumental when Graded applies for grants from major donors and outside organizations. Foundations, in particular, choose to fund institutions that are able to demonstrate the commitment of those closest to them. An annual fund is a measure of such dedication.
WHAT DOES THE GRADED ANNUAL FUND SUPPORT?
Providing immediate impact, the Graded Annual Fund is the primary vehicle for raising unrestricted funds to supplement the school's operating budget. Like American colleges and leading independent schools, Graded relies upon philanthropic contributions to fulfill its mission. The Graded Annual Fund supports educational enrichment, professional development, scholarships, arts, athletics, community service, and campus enhancements.
