SAAC Fine Arts at Graded

Graded was proud to host SAAC Fine Arts for the first time in March 2026, welcoming young artists and their teachers from across South America.

We were honored to have students join us from Colegio Americano de Quito, Colegio Franklin Delano Roosevelt, International School of Curitiba, Lincoln – The American International School of Buenos Aires, The International School Nido de Aguilas, and Uruguayan American School.

The event kicked off with an engaging performance from Barbatuques, a musical group who used body percussion, movement, and voice to create an interactive musical experience.

Across three days, students immersed themselves in music, drama, visual arts, and film—collaborating on classic and original pieces, refining their craft, and learning from both Graded and visiting teachers. Guided by the theme “Resistance and Resilience,” their work explored how the arts can challenge injustice, express identity, and imagine new possibilities.

Between workshops, rehearsals, and performances, students reconnected with friends, built new relationships, and took part in cultural experiences.
