From Inspired to Inspiring: Women in Science at Graded

Laura Martinez, Staff Writer

Women have made some of the world’s most significant contributions to science. From Marie Curie’s discovery of radioactivity and two periodic table elements to Katherine Johnson’s development of mathematical equations essential to space exploration, women continue to play pivotal roles in advancing scientific knowledge.

But where is that spark of curiosity ignited? Often, it's in the classroom, nurtured by inspiring teachers.

Among Graded’s Upper School Science Department members are eight amazing female teachers who serve as role models for the next generation of scientific minds. We have profiled seven of them. Scroll down to explore their stories!
