Deborah Leipziger '85 Publishes Poetry Collection

The Graded Gazette

Deborah Leipziger '85 published her first essay in The Eagle Eye as a Graded high school student. Last month, Story & Bone, her book of lyrical poems, interlaced with slivers of childhood memories from Brazil, was released. During Deborah's time at Graded, she developed interests in writing, corporate responsibility, and sustainability, which laid the groundwork for her academic and professional careers.

Deborah is the author of several non-fiction books, including the world's first book on corporate responsibility, published in 1998. She co-founded Soul-Lit, an online poetry magazine, and the New England Jewish Poetry Festival

Currently, Deborah is a senior fellow in social innovation at the Lewis Institute at Babson College and the founding director of The Leipziger Group, where she advises companies and organizations worldwide on human rights and environmental issues.
