How Graded’s First Career Week Introduced Students to Global Industries

Graded’s Office of College Counseling (OCC) hosted its first-ever Career Week, bringing real-world industry insight directly to our students. As part of our commitment to effective career mentorship for high school students, this exciting initiative provided a valuable platform for growth. Across grades 9–11, students engaged in early career exploration for high schoolers, meeting with a different industry professional each day. They explored a wide range of professional fields, including law, finance, engineering, healthcare, marketing, technology, and more.

Throughout the week, students demonstrated strong intellectual curiosity by asking thoughtful questions and making meaningful connections. Initiatives like this are crucial for preparing high school students for future careers and helping them discover how to choose a career path in high school before they even apply to universities.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the guest professionals who generously gave their time and shared their experiences. Their insight and guidance made a lasting impact and inspired our students to think about the endless possibilities that await them beyond Graded.
