Graded Students Participate in Inaugural Yale Model United Nations Brazil Conference

Fourteen Graded High School delegates traveled to Brasília to participate in the inaugural Yale Model United Nations Brazil (YMUN Brazil) conference.

Over three days, students represented different countries and engaged in debates on complex historical, political, and economic issues, including financial privacy, tensions between G7 and BRICS nations, and the future of international payments.

For 11 of the students, the conference marked the final Model United Nations (MUN) experience of their high school careers. Over the years, they have represented Graded at conferences across Brazil and internationally, including THIMUN in The Hague, OxfordMUN, YMUN Europe, and SAAC conferences in Argentina and Ecuador.

Their participation in MUN has provided opportunities to develop research, public speaking, negotiation, and collaboration skills while engaging with global issues. We celebrate their contributions to Graded’s MUN community and look forward to seeing how they carry these experiences forward.
