Celebration of the World Showcases Graded's Cultural Diversity

The Graded community came together on a sunny Saturday for Celebration of the World (COTW), the school's biggest event of the year!

Organized by the Graded PTA, the event kicked off with a Parade of Nations, followed by a day filled with live stage entertainment, a raffle for amazing prizes, a silent auction, games on the field, a Second-hand Bazaar, and a COTW Store offering customizable gear.

The highlight of COTW is undoubtedly the food booths. With 28 countries represented this year, the culinary offerings at each festively decorated booth transported guests around the world. From hearty tortilla española, savory fish cakes, crispy Korean fried chicken, fluffy bao, and perfectly spiced samosas to the sweet delights of crepes and baklava, and more—there was something for everyone.

COTW is not just about food, though; it is a celebration of the incredible diversity of cultures represented in the Graded community. The introduction of the Cultural Immersion Spaces, featuring 11 countries, added a new way to engage with global cultures at interactive booths where countries showcased their traditions, arts, and heritage.
