Brazilian Author Caio Tozzi Visits Graded Through Visiting Author Series

Brazilian author Caio Tozzi visited campus as part of the Graded Visiting Author Series, engaging middle school students in discussions about his novel O Segredo do Disco Perdido. Leading up to the event, students participated in classroom book clubs to explore the story and share their interpretations.

The story follows Daniel, who spends his vacation in Minas Gerais and discovers that his grandfather’s autographed Clube da Esquina record has disappeared. With his new friends, Daniel embarks on a fun adventure full of surprises, set to the music of Milton Nascimento and Lô Borges.
 

Throughout the sessions, Caio shared insights about his creative process, the inspirations behind his stories, and the joy of writing for young readers. Students had their books autographed by the author while listening to songs from the legendary group that inspired the story.
