Beyond the Frame: IB Visual Arts and IB Theatre Projects Showcase Student Creativity

Graded artists and performers presented powerful and thought-provoking work during Beyond the Frame: IB Visual Arts Senior Exhibitions and IB Theatre Solo Projects. Through sculpture, photography, drawing, performance, and more, students explored complex themes such as sin in contemporary society, grief and memory, the intersection of psychology and biology, and the human experience of discomfort.
 

The showcase also featured live solo performances by IB Theatre students inspired by the artwork on display.
 

This annual event offers the Graded community an opportunity to engage with the artists and learn about their creative processes, gaining insight into the inspiration, research, and experimentation that went into each piece.
