Teacher funding request
Teachers interested in contacting the PTA for funding assistance for their programs or activities can complete this form and present it to a member of the PTA Board Committee.
Who is eligible to request funding?
Any member of Graded School’s faculty and staff may submit a funding request as long as they obtain the approval of their immediate supervisor and the superintendent's signature. Furthermore, community service requests must have the Director of Community Service's signature.
Any of a Graded School student may submit a request for funding for an event or donation as long as they have the signatures of at least three current Executive Committee members and one Executive Board Member (President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer).
The PTA will approve fund requests based on the degree to which they support the PTA’s objectives:
• Foster communication and cooperation among the faculty, staff, students, and parents of Graded School.
• Encourage optimum parent involvement in activities to support Graded School.
• Serve as an advocate for the educational enrichment of and healthy environment for the Graded school students.
• Promote an appreciation for Graded’s diversity, as well as and promote and celebrate harmony among the Graded community's many cultures.
PTA funding requests must be submitted to the PTA six weeks before the date funds are required. This gives the PTA enough time to study and discuss the request. Funding requests above R$5.000,00 should be voted on at PTA Annual Budget Meeting (every May).
