Welcome New Families!

We are eager to ensure that your family's transition to Graded School is a smooth one.

We have listed below the SCHEDULE and information for Orientation which we will take place WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 2, 2017.

It is very important that you RSVP even if you do not plan to attend ORIENTATION.  We will have to arrange a time for Middle & High School students who cannot attend Orientation to set up their computers and sit for placement assessments.

SUPPLIES AND BOOK LISTS

Please click here for supplies and book lists. Only students enrolled in the native or advanced level Portuguese should buy Portuguese books for Middle and High School. This interview/testing for Portuguese placement will happen during Orientation.

TECHNOLOGY

Beginning in 6th grade, Graded is a 1-to-1 school and a “bring your own device” (BYOD) institution.  It is the expectation that all students come to school, prepared for learning, with fully charged and functioning computers that meet minimum requirements. Click here to learn more.

DOCUMENTATION

Please bring a copy of all required documents to school on Orientation day:

Students:

RG Document - Local Brazilian families please bring a copy of RG

RNE or Protocol of the RNE - International families please bring a copy of RNE

Birth Certificate - Copy of birth certificate 

Transcripts - Please make sure that you bring in the “End of Year Transcript” for each student and original documents for registration purposes.

Vaccination records - Please bring a copy of your child(ren)'s immunization record.

Passports/Visas - Bring a copy of passports and visas

Parents:

RG Document - Local Brazilian families please bring a copy of RG

RNE or Protocol of the RNE - International families please bring a copy of RNE

Birth Certificate - Copy of birth certificate 

CPF - Copy of CPF Document

Note: If the student has Brazilian nationality the local Ministry of Education (MEC) requires that all school transcripts for Brazilians who have studied outside of Brazil be "consularizado" at your closest Brazilian Consulate. It is required by law to be presented no later than thirty days from the first day of class.

If you are not a current user, please note that spaces are dependent on availability (some routes are already full) and pick-up and drop-off routes are predetermined.
