Curriculum

Graded follows an American curriculum for grades 1-12, with the Preprimary following a Montessori curriculum. In addition, the school also provides the appropriate curriculum for students who need to follow the Brazilian program. High school students may  incorporate the International Baccalaureate curriculum.

You are welcome to peruse our K-12 Curriculum Maps .

School Improvement Plan

Like our students, Graded continues to grow and learn, striving to improve our performance in all areas. At the core of that process is the development of a School Improvement Plan each year. The School Improvement Plan identifies specific goals for special attention during the school year. At year's end, progress on those goals is assessed and summarized in the Goal Achievement Report . Based on that assessment, as well as surveys, test results, and a comprehensive needs assessment, the cycle is repeated. Please log in to read the reports.

Accreditation

In 2007-08, Graded embarked on its five-years Accreditation Review Process with the US accrediting organization AdvancED, and we were granted continued accreditation for the maximum period, another five years.

Graded is also accredited by  the Ministry of Education as described by our Brazilian Studies department .
