The Media Center programs are a vital part of the total school program for quality education.  They enrich every aspect of the educational process and reflect and support the philosophy of the school which encourages each student to achieve optimum potential as a learner, citizen, and human being.

The collections provide access to differing viewpoints and materials that complement and expand all curricular areas and provide materials for various reading and maturity levels.  The Media Centers also strive to offer a comfortable and safe environment conducive to learning lifetime skills and exploring a variety of subject areas.

Personnel in the Media Centers are involved in the total teaching process and initiate changes to reflect new ideas and programs which develop throughout Graded.

The purpose of the library media center is to provide a harmonious environment conducive to the development of information literacy, appreciation of literature and intellectual growth among our students through the support of the faculty's professional needs and with respect for the culturally diverse needs within our community.
